ACNielsen Appoints Patrick Dodd as Group Managing Director, Central Europe
Global market research company, ACNielsen has named Patrick Dodd as Group Managing Director for its newly created business region of Central Europe. The new region will encompass Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary, Poland and the Czech and Slovakia Republics. Dodd, previously President of ACNielsen Canada, will take up his new position in August 2005 and will join ACNielsen’s European Executive Board. He will be based in Switzerland.
Lennart Bengtsson Named as New President for ACNielsen Emerging Markets
ACNielsen has promoted Lennart Bengtsson to the position of President, ACNielsen Emerging Markets. Bengtsson, previously Managing Director of ACNielsen Japan and Chief Marketing & Client Service Officer Asia Pacific, brings over 20 years of international market research experience to his new role. ACNielsen is the market leader for retail, manufacturer and consumer research in the Emerging Markets region which covers over 40 countries from Eastern Europe to the Middle East and South Africa. Bengtsson will relocate to ACNielsen’s Emerging Markets headquarters in Cyprus in August 2005.
